sir,
pl help me. i am tired and frustrated. doing it for
long time but can not configure
My problem is : A local news server is to be
established on linux. I am using Red hAt 9.0 inn 2.3 +
The news group would be local one + the new server
won't connect to the outside world. ony local posting
and reading through pine.
Also group can be created by local users in a domain.
I have got up to :
when i connect through pine there
are no news groups showed
I can connect through telnet newsserver 119
and can post an article
all the articles are being stored in
/var/spoo/news/incoming
for eg.... 3fdce556554.news server
Also my server name is discuss.iitg.ernet.in and is
under proxy. since i want it be intra for local people
only
