There's no official one.  As a .edu, you should be able to find a netwise
nearby .edu more than happy to peer with you, or you can use something
like suck or newsx to pull articles from a server to which you have
newsreading access.  (See http://www.individual.net/ for a free such 
account if you don't have one.)
