Hi,
I am using cycbuffs of 2 Gb (was using 1 Gb cycbuffs without any
problems) and when I do a 'cnfsstat -a' I now get:
# cnfsstat -a
Class LARGE for groups matching "*", article size min/max: 200000/0
Malformed UTF-8 character (overflow at 0xdd3fd70e, byte 0x98, after
start byte 0xff) in pattern match (m//) at /usr/lib/news/bin/cnfsstat

.
... etc...
Note it says the size is 1.00 GBytes (not 2 GBytes).
I also have cnfsstat running in background logging to syslog (cnfsstat
-s -l -P) and the syslog entry looks OK:
Sep 12 14:06:36 nntp cnfsstat[20034]: Class LARGE for groups matching
"*" article size min/max: 200000/0 Buffer LONE, len: 2000 Mbytes, used:
630.00 Mbytes (31.0%) 5 cycles
Note that this says the size is 2000 Mbytes - which is correct.
Everything seems to be running OK. Why do I get the above errors? Is
there a problem with cycbuffs larger than 1 GByte?
I am running inn version 2.3.4-2 on RedHat 9
Thanks,
