Best storage method for reader box

I think that the performance that you're seeing is dominated by checking
for nonexistant articles.  If I'm right, timecaf is basically the worst
case there right now, I believe, and everything else is faster.

I've not noticed any significant performance issues with CNFS or timehash
in this regard.
