Question on threading/SMP

I'm interested in setting INN up on a feeder, which has two
Xeon chips (4 CPU's recognized by the kernel), running FreeBSD 4.10.

When I was playing with INN in a test environment, running top
and ps showed one innfeed and one innd process, with a lot of
idle time, and not very much throughput (compared to Diablo).

Does INN work in an SMP environment?
