Well, you can't feed the server articles that it already has.  That's what
it looks like that error message is doing.

You're trying to apply several different methods of solving the same
problem all at the same time, I think.

Is the new server already running and being used by people?  If so, you
need to selectively feed to it *only* the articles that it doesn't already
have, and you're going to have to be very careful about how you do it,
since while you have Xref slaving turned on, you can't take any external
feed.

If the new server isn't already running, I think you'd be better off at
this point just starting clean.  Delete the spool, the overview, and the
history from the new server, start with an empty history file, and then
feed all the articles from the old server using innxmit.  When you use
innxmit, you do *not* need to run makehistory.
