Yes.
First install INN and configure it. Be sure to use the same storage
method in storage.conf (if you have the spool with subdirectories for
newsgroup name components and one article per numbered file, that's
tradspool).
Your most difficult task will be making a new active file. Hopefully
you can get your active file from wherever you originally did. If not,
you can use the spool as a starting point, but it will take a little
fiddling. (Don't worry about the high and low watermarks in the active
file being correct for your spool, but the groups need to be listed.)
Once you have an INN with an active file including the groups in your
spool, make sure INN is not running, and use `makehistory -O` to
rebuild the history and overview databases. If you're running a recent
release of INN, the active file watermarks will be automatically
updated the next time INN starts. Otherwise, as soon as INN is
running, run `ctlinnd renumber "" ` so that happens.
