Ah, I see.  No, I was assuming tcpserver behavior of not sending stderr to
the network, rather than inetd behavior that does.  Really, that message
is extraneous and the other message logged via notice should go to syslog.
I'll make that change.

That will be a good test to be sure the new Subversion repository is
sending commit messages to the right place and they'll go through
properly.
