Oh, I'm trying to avoid the ``two almost identical installations
running'' case. That's the point.
(And my interest in overriding the `inn.conf' locations is due
to the very same reason. Besides, it seems to me that there're
just too much places in the INN source where the UID/EUID are
checked; wouldn't it be better to split them onto a separate
library function? Moreover, I'm quite fascinated with the
ability to run certain server software, traditionally meant to
be run at start-up to provide system-wide services, as an
ordinary user, for it to provide a service just to myself,
without even recompiling it. At last, wouldn't it be better for
me to hack instead of posting so much waste to the numerous
mailing lists I'm aware of?)
