news reader cannot see articles

Ok...what can I do?  I have a thought about fixing this... but not sure
if this sounds stupid or even possible.  If I rebuild a new INND
instance on a different system and copy over the config files and all
the spool/articles, can I recreate the newserver with new index and
overview to get things up and running normally again?

Only if INN is persistently generating bad storage API tokens for that
one
group for some reason.  I don't know why it would be, but it would
explain
the behavior that you're seeing.

I suppose one could verify by running sm on the storage API token from
the
overview and see if it can retrieve the article.
