I believe « rnews » (or equivalent) would be better to repost from
the command line, especially when you already have the whole articles
(headers+body).


By the way, as for the « tiny script » about which Bill spoke,
perhaps that one from Jeffrey could be of help:

It is made for renaming a newsgroup but you can adapt it and
only change the headers of the articles you wish to move.
