	What I use is, roughly, as follows:

$ time suck news.gmane.org @common.options -p .gmane 
...
$ cat common.options 
-c -dd conf/ -dm incoming/ -m
$ cat conf/sucknewsrc.gmane 
...
gmane.network.inn 7417
...
$
