    I don't think anyone here has the time to help you with all of
    this non-INN related stuff (e.g. basics of programming).

3.  If you're lucky, you may be able to accomplish your task by finding
    a PAM module that can talk to your database, and using the PAM
    support built in to ckpasswd.  This would avoid the need to write
    your own program.
