Problems moving newsserver from 32bit to 64bit

I'm now trying this method and noticed that the receiving inn server
is under high load. I looked for the reason and found that innd is
reading the history.hash file nonstop. Іt's doing almost nothing else.

Any idea why that happens? Is the xrefslave setting the reason for
this? I never noticed that on other servers running inn. The
performance is quite bad at the moment and the sync will run for
another 9 hours minimum.
