Question about "<news>/db/history" file size

I'm not sure what you're asking here.

The history file is about 10,000 articles per MB, so you should be able to
predict how big it will get depending on your feed settings and so on.  If 
you double your retention time, it will approximately double, and so on.  
(Don't forget the /remember/ time in expire.ctl, if you have articles that 
are retained for short times.)
