I took a pass through the Subversion history and added a few more things.
I also did a bit of rephrasing for idiomatic English. I'm still missing a
ton of changes, since we've been working on INN 2.5 for more than five
years now, but I think we got the highlights.
For INN 2.6, we should try to maintain the file as we commit changes, and
release more frequently than twice a decade. :)
I also ripped out auth_smb, something that I'd been planning on doing for
a while and which we needed to do before the 2.5 release. This code was
basically unmaintained and probably had security problems, since it was
based on an old version of the Samba login code that had known security
problems. There are much better PAM modules that do this and INN supports
PAM, so I don't think there's any reason to try to maintain this code.
