I have used the same file as attachment for all clients. The log entry is
for outlook express client

Yes you are right!! INN or nnrpd is not hanging, I though I mentioned it in
my previous post, sorry for that. 

When I try to post with attachment it is client which hangs. Client keeps on
trying to post the message but it can't. Only with netscape 4.7 it works
fine. Also if it is without attachment, it works fine with all clients
including outlook express and netscape 7.

Hope I am clear in explaining the problem. Please find the enclosed log
file. This is the excerpt of news.notice. From this I could make out that
article is rejected but what reason? Not sure!

I'm confused again.  I don't see any evidence of anything "hanging" 
here -- what made you think that INN was hanging?

I don't think I've asked this yet -- what do you see in the 
"news.notice" and "news" logfiles around the time you try these posts?
