Did you try to generate and send the statistics with the ninpaths and 
sendinpaths programs shipped with INN?

You may want to compare the result of ninpaths and yours.

It may not be actively maintained.  Yet, statistics sent to 
<http://top1000.anthologeek.net/> correctly show up (I see the ones from 
my news server).
