Hi, I am currently converting my server from tradspool to cnfs. Since I've got the space to space, I did not purge my tradspool, but I simply created the buffers and adjusted storage.conf to not store anything in the tradspool anymore. This works fine: I can still access everything in the tradspool and all new articles are stored in the cnfs buffers. However, some articles from the tradspool won't expire. According to expire.ctl they should have expired long ago, but they're still in my spool. Is there a findmissing.pl which works with INN 2.3.2 and the storage manager? Note that some groups have an expire of 90 days while others expire in 10 days. I switched 20 days ago, but the groups which expire in 10 days still hold some articles. And these aren't crosspostings. A very rough estimate of the number of articles: 5700 articles which aren't expired but should be, 22700 articles still on spool. my expire.ctl: /remember/:7 *:A:0:0:0 *:U:1:10:14 *:M:1:30:60 *.answers:M:1:35:90 news.announce.*:M:1:35:90 *.announce:M:1:30:90 *.test:A:1:1:1 nl.newsgroups:A:31:90:100 nl.newsgroups.announce:M:31:90:100 nl.internet.misbruik:A:31:90:100 nl.internet.misbruik.rapport:M:31:90:100 alt.nocem.misc:A:1:1:1 news.lists.filters:A:1:1:1 hensema.lkml:A:7:7:7 news.lists.filters for example still holds articles, even though they should have expired after one day. -- Erik Hensema (erik@hensema.net) -- Attached file included as plaintext by Ecartis -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE9BoAFuNWfqpFSu/cRAqlZAJ9dD83f+JB6t9Dl9AXfAmn7rnZhXgCePWE1 mWkwRDHZYa34MLsekHFKp5U= =LA7v -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
