You are right, I was writing the mail in a hassle (between two meetings) out
of my mind without double check the syntax, sorry. But who uses debian in
such environment would know how todo.

I uploaded a new version with minor fixes in my build environment just some
minutes before. In case you are using etch/sid, I've build also a version
build with gcc/g++ 4.0. Build with 4.1 is broken which also may cause the
trouble with OpenSuSE 10.1.
In case you need a build against newer than sarge write pm. If the new package
doesn't fix the problem, I guess upstream bugs (which its know for).
