peval on ubuntu

when i went to find peval() for ubuntu LTS 12.04 i386

said that 

    irrtoolset 5.0.1 has been released and is available in the usual place:
    ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/IRRToolSet/

but the latest in ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/IRRToolSet/ 

    IRRToolSet-4.7.2/		11/16/04 12:00:00 AM

so i download 

    ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/IRRToolSet/IRRToolSet-4.7.2/IRRToolSet-4.7.2-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz

and moved bin/peval to /usr/local/bin and test, i got

    $ /usr/local/bin/peval -s RIPE AS-AKAMAI
    /usr/local/bin/peval: error while loading shared libraries: libhistory.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

so i feel a bit foolish here.  wazzup?
