The problem is deeper and will be fixed by #4266. If you also want to
avoid obsolete warnings with the deadline timer #4264 (based on #4266)
fixes it. A few minutes ago I refreshed my patch for #4264 because
the boost on my macOS requires to pass it before any build of Kea...
I can send the patch to you if it is easier...

BTW what is the kind of Linux that is used? It will be fine to provide
a strong argument to my colleagues to review these two tickets soon
(but next year) as the unsupported macOS seems to be not enough (and
some are not on holidays). And it will help to get it backported too.
