Hi Fred,
David, a Unix Domain Socket sounds like a good fit. What I want to have
happen
over the socket is for my application to mimic a DHCPv6 Client and request
IA_NA
and/or IA_PD delegations from kea acting as the DHCPv6 Server.
Is that possible?
I don't think this is possible. The only thing exposed via the unix socket
is a control channel.
The actual implementation of DHCP will always require a network stack.
If you want to keep DHCPv6 communications local try to use localhost or
virtual interfaces.
