Greetings,<br>
<br>
In the migration to 3.0.0 document, it mentioned the following changes in 3.0.0:
<div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span><br>
<i>It is no longer possible to create sockets in any available directory; sockets must be created in a specific directory, which must have 0750 access rights. The default directory is <b>[kea-installation-dir]/var/run/kea</b>. This path may be overridden at
startup by setting the environment variable KEA_CONTROL_SOCKET_DIR to the desired path. See Configuration in the ARM for further details.</i></div>
<br>
I feel a little confused on this [kea-installation-dir]/var/run/kea directory, because when I do “which kea” command, the kea installation directory is
<div><br>
</div>
<div>/usr/sbin/kea-dhcp6</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>By default, I also see there’s already a directory /var/run/kea created after installation. So should I create a new directory as /usr/sbin/kea-dhcp6/var/run/kea or should I just use this default directory /var/run/kea? I tested in 3.0 and seems /var/run/kea
is working fine. But it’s different from official description. And I want to double check. Thanks. </div>
