      those hooks might be necessary - I'm on an older version, 2.7.x -

      would that work at all?<br>

      Or if without hooks, perhaps some class - would be easier? -

      basically if clients' hostnames are short-form, no FQDN, then

      send/set them FQDN hostname (ideally with <i>concat </i>client-sent-hostname

      + "some.domain")<br>

      Preferably a "catch-all" (or per subnet) method without need for

      "reservations" & the likes of.<br>
