I was using the american version of these routers in Paris, just fine,
with the american to eu plug converter. eu versions can be had in
amazon.fr.

Same goes for the lenovos, although it's much more robust to not use
a plug converter, but get the cable+plug into-the-wart adaptor. I
may still have one of these in my bag.
