We have a modified transmission (transmission git repo, note the
branch to use is master-2.50 because it is under review and not
yet merged).
As far as I know transmission (binary transmission-gtk) is installed
by default over Ubuntu. The interesting thing is the help - message log.
BTW it is good to keep at least one unmodified transmission
(it works too, it just doesn't use PCP).

PS: I don't know if the modified transmission builds well on MacOS
(there are some not ASCII files I removed as they bug diff/patch).
