so after a few snags I'm about ready to test the image for sd-cpe1,
which has all the relevant code and kernel modules baked into it, or
so I hope, so it will be a matter of burn and go, in paris, after
configuring the aftr box with the right mac address, with no, or
hopefully minimal reconfiguration required.

It comes to 12MB in size, leaving 4 (~6 compressed) free for
in-the-field updates.

I've decided to stay in redwood city through tomorrow as I hate the
idea of being separated from the lab while you try to bring things up.
I do need to get down to santa cruz by the early afternoon, somehow.
