Hi Slawek,

Thanks for your reply

It is unclear to me wether I have to change my config or this is a checker problem.

I can find the substition for reservation-mode to "reservations-out-of-pool" but it is unclear how to set this in the config.
I could not find a config example for this.

Maybe you have an example for me?

Regards,

Ronald

Hello Ronald!

The "reservation-mode" parameter was supported in the 1.8.X branch of
Kea DHCP. The behaviors have changed in the 1.9 branch: more flexible
configuration options were introduced called "reservations-global",
"reservations-in-subnet" and "reservations-out-of-pool" to replace the
old "reservation-mode" parameter.

Stork supports both approaches and works properly no matter how you set
the out-of-pool mode.

In Kea 2.6.x, you need to set the out-of-pool mode by the
"reservations-out-of-pool" parameter.

I opened https://eur05.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgitlab.isc.org%2Fisc-projects%2Fstork%2F-%2Fissues%2F1668&data=05%7C02%7Cronald.blaas%40ddfr.nl%7C7c2790e28fd34c90ff6408dd30b2d93c%7C61b60fb772d74ba78225d9b5369d780a%7C0%7C0%7C638720266921208795%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=CRyiMGTQqkdmYAyUyuckrjDC%2F53EqELk4bA0mN8d5lw%3D&reserved=0<https://gitlab.isc.org/isc-projects/stork/-/issues/1668> to
improve the checker message.

Thank you for your feedback!
Regards,
Slawek Figiel
