Stork users-

ISC has become of aware of a packaging issue with Stork 2.2.0 affecting our users who install from RPM packages. RPM is the package format used by Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), among others.

When installing the 2.2.0 RPM package, settings in the Stork server.env and/or agent.env configuration file may be replaced with the defaults. As the exclusive use of these defaults generally will not yield a working installation, this leaves Stork inoperable.

Non-RPM distributions (such as Ubuntu, Debian, or Alpine) are not affected by this problem.

If you have already encountered this problem, the original file (from just before the upgrade) should still be available as server.env.rpmsave in the same directory (for example, /etc/stork/server.env.rpmsave).

It is always recommended that a backup of all config and data files be made before installing any upgrade.
