Welcome to ISC’s webinar mailing list! Although this list has not been active for a while, we are reviving it as a method to notify interested users of ISC webinars.

We have two webinars coming up soon that you may be interested in:

——————————————————————

The first is tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20 at 1700 UTC/1 PM EDT/10 AM PDT, on EDNS Client Subnet Identifier (ECS), a feature of the subscription version of BIND 9.
ISC engineers Eddy Winstead and Evan Hunt will show you what ECS is, how it works in BIND, and how it impacts the resolver cache. You’ll be able to ask any questions you may have about its usefulness or implementation.

The slides and recording will be posted afterwards on our website at https://www.isc.org/presentations and we will notify all registrants when they’re available.

The second webinar is Troubleshooting DNS with dig, on Wednesday, June 10 at 1700 UTC/1 PM EDT/10 AM PDT.

Have you ever used ping to troubleshoot issues with the Domain Name System? Well, don’t! Dig is one of the most effective tools to help understand the relationships within the distributed database of DNS, and it’s a much more appropriate resource than ping. Many engineers use inefficient methods to analyze DNS, but we can show you how simple and effective troubleshooting is with dig. Guest presenter Andreas Taudte of honest consulting GmbH will lead this webinar.

Please register for this webinar at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_l0slo7skR_Gnshc05ir-Ig, even if you can’t attend the live session.
