Two DNS webinars in October

ISC is pleased to announce two new DNS webinars for autumn 2023!

* Please join us for our first session on October 19 at 14:00 UTC for a discussion of Reverse DNS.

A DNS lookup takes a name, and returns with an IP address. Reverse DNS does the opposite, and provides a name, given the address. Greg Choules, ISC Support Engineer, explains what reverse DNS is, and how to set it up in BIND.

* Our second webinar will take place on October 26 at 14:00 UTC and will cover Resolver ECS with the BIND Supported Preview Edition.

What options are available and what do they do? What are some considerations and potential pitfalls? How will enabling ECS change your resolver operation? Cathy Almond, ISC's Principal Support Engineer, will tackle these frequently asked questions.
