Help re: MX record

The MX record directs the mail to your mail host.  Check the syslog
records - if the sendmail.cf is not set up to accept @domain.com [or
other files, depending on which version of sendmail you're using], then
it may be rejecting any mail addressed that way.

Of course, the above answer is Unix-centric.  But it's so much easier
with *nix.
