I set up a caching-only nameserver per the Linux LDP DNS-How-To. Now anytime I do anything on my local net (i.e., "ftp 192.168.0.1") will cause diald to dial out. I don't know if this is a named.conf or a diald configuration problem. Thanks for your help.
