Folks,

I have used bind 8.1.2 in a RedHat 6.0 linux box. For some strange reason, my
DNS server have add a few additional zone data files that I have not created to
use in named.conf file. My actual zone serial is not same as it says in the
log file. It seems like I don't have control over my DNS. I have incremented
actual zone serial during the zone record modification, and have restarted
named but the nslookup reads old reading.

My log file is as follow:

Oct 17 21:01:37 alpha named[376]: master zone "0.0.127.in-addr.arpa" (IN)
loaded (serial 1997022700

Thanks in advance any advice.
