Cable Modem NIC causes DNS problem........ N E Ideas

I had 1 NIC installed and eveything worked just fine but now after I
installed the 2nd one ..................it Fails
If I remove the 2nd NIC, cable modem works fine. I can't seem to get DNS
working with two NICs in the machine. If I try pinging the DNS server I get
a Time out. But Iif I remove the 2nd NIC and ping it work fine..

As usual Comcast Cable doesn't support Dual NIC's or NT40 Svr.
All settings are correct.. Comcast verified them..
