Hi everybody,

I am fairly new to DNS and BIND and have just set up our new DNS
with BIND 8.2.2P5.
The DNS-Server works fine, but I saw something strange
in the Logfile of our firewall.
There are several servers, who try to reach our DNS via port 33434
or 32777. The source port is always the UDP Domain port 53.
They were blocked.
Why do they try to connect the DNS via these ports and what are
they trying to do ???

Best regards

Marcus
