Problem with Bind and nslookup (Bind 8.1.2 and Linux 2.0.36)

I receive the following error message when trying to set my default
nameserver as IP 192.68.0.1:
	*** Can't find server name for address 192.68.0.1: Non-existent
host/domain

My resolv.conf contains the following:
	nameserver 192.68.0.1
	nameserver 127.0.0.1

The routing table contains:
	Destination	Gateway	Genmask	Flags	Metric	Ref	Use	Iface
	192.68.0.0	0.0.0.0		255.255.255.0	U	0	0	0	eth0
	127.0.0.0	0.0.0.0		255.0.0.0	U	0	0	6	lo

The nameserver's IP address is 192.68.0.1 but I receive the abover error.

When nslookup uses the loopback IP as the nameserver, everything (seems to)
work fine.

Any help would be appreciated and more information will be posted if
needed.
