Migrating to a NEW ISP -- PLEASE HELP ....

I've done a transition like this before...

First, you need to get the refresh settings down to around the 12hr mark so
that all the DNS servers out there start refreshing at that frequency.  You
can move that back up when the change is done.

The trick will be to time out the changes from the root servers with the
actual change.  There is a way to make this *completely* seamless, but you
*must* have DNS servers available on both ISPs for a brief period of time.
You'll most likely have a non-seamless ISP transition, and you don't want
your name servers to be down for that same time.
