Your Linux box is not a registered DNS nameserver with InterNIC so that will
not work.

If you want free DNS nameservice, try www.granitecanyon.com and create your
RRs there - no cost!

If you want cheap nameservice, try www.realdns.com and create your RRs
there - $2 year per domain and much easier to setup.
