What your ISP should have done is.

	1. added the new servers to the zone, after configuring them.
	2. inform the parent zone of the new desired NS list.
	3. when the changes had taken effect in the parent zone remove
the NS records for the old servers from the zone.
	4. when all records refering to the old server have timed out
the zones can be removed from the old servers.

What you should request that your ISP do is *immediately*
reconfigure NS1.ESCAPE.CA and NS2.ESCAPE.CA to server the
zone and add them back into the set of nameservers so you
are at the end of step 1. This will restore your service.
Then ask them to proceed with the list above.

The NS records in the parent zone should *never* be a dis-joint
set from those in the child zone. They should match. Only while
changing nameservers around should they differ and it should be
managed such they the parent records are always subset of the
	childs.
