Subject: Re: No possible A RRs
Folks,
When my users can't send receive mail to the particular domain, I usually
find some mickey-mouse name server implementation running on the other
end, bad delegation cases or funky firewalls.
In this particular case I can't see much and need confirmation and sanity
check
I found in the log the following in in.named BIND 8.1.2's log:
named[149]: [ID 295310 daemon.info] ns_resp: query(whitneygroup.com) No
possible A RRs
My sendmail ( Version 8.9.3 with anti-spam checks enabled ) complains:
[801593 mail.info] BAA29821: --> 451 <someone at whitneygroup.com>... Sender
domain must resolve
[ID 801593 mail.info] BAA29821: --> 451 <someone at whitneygroup.com>...
whitneygroup.com: Name server timeout
Can someone check and tell me if he can see anything wrong with
whitneygroup.com responses?
Thnx !
