Right, there are at least 2 different computer-industry-specific meanings for
the word "native":

1) Supplied with the operating system (let's not even get into a definition
war over the term "operating system", okay?)

2) The opposite of "emulated".

When the OP said "native", I took him to mean definition #1 rather than #2, as
I think Cricket did also. I often use the (bulky) term
"vendor-supplied" rather than "native" to avoid this particular ambiguity.
