BIND 9 needs both forward and reverse

Does this mean that without a reverse lookup anyone running bind 9 can't see
my sites?
Or is this if 'i'm' running bind 9 it will not work?

FYI.

It seems that BIND 9.x will not query nameservers that don't have forward
AND reverse lookup entries for the host machine.

BIND 9 will check for both before querying and if both are not found then
the query will not take place.

We had problems after upgrading with customers not being able to reach
domains hosted on nameservers without a successful reverse, BIND 8 didn't
seem to care.

Anyone else come across this?
