BIND 9.1.1rc2

I just compiled and installed BIND 9.1.1rc2 on a RedHat 6.2 box
running kernel v 2.4.1.

Everything went fine and I can start and stop named via an init
script, no problem, and it answers queries, etc.

However, there are a few discrepancies that I wish to clear up and
hopefully some of you can shed some light on this.

I check my /var/log/messages file, and here's what it said:

Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 /usr/local/named/sbin/named[11130]: starting
BIND 9.1.1rc2
Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 /usr/local/named/sbin/named[11130]: using 1 CPU
Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 named: named startup succeeded
Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 /usr/local/named/sbin/named[11132]: loading
configuration from '/usr/local/named/etc/named.conf'

>>Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 /usr/local/named/sbin/named[11132]: the default for the 'auth-nxdomain' option is now 'no'

What does this mean?

>>Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module net-pf-10

I don't know what this module is.. do I need to compile something
extra into my kernel?

>>Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 /usr/local/named/sbin/named[11132]: no IPv6 interfaces found

I'm not sure that this matters; I recall someone posting a message a
while ago about this, though I seem to remember it not being a big
deal...

Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 /usr/local/named/sbin/named[11132]: listening on
IPv4 interface lo, 127.0.0.1#53
Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 /usr/local/named/sbin/named[11132]: listening on
IPv4 interface eth0, 192.168.1.5#53
Feb 13 10:21:57 nims1 /usr/local/named/sbin/named[11132]: running

>> Everything else seems fine

I would appreciate any input on this matter

TIA!!
