nslookup issues on hp-ux

Well, don't rely on HP's utilities. We too have HP-UX machines and they are 
very tricky conserning network. e.g. we have a pop3 daemon linked against 
HP's libraries. When the connection to the internet is down, this daemon 
needs lot of time to come up (1 minute, must be the timeout). As the only 
external information this machine has it the IP-address of our gateway, 
which is up and running, it must be something inside HP's 
libraries/implementions.
btw. we have 3 other OS which don't show this behaviour.
