Help: setting a CNAME record for the domain

	Yes, you are doing something wrong.  The label of a
	CNAME record can not have any other data.  The name
	of your zone has an SOA and (hopefully) multiple NS
	records, therefore you can not have the zone name as
	a CNAME.  An A record should suffice.
