Problem compiling with SunOS 4.1.3_U1 and BIND 4.9.8

Hi,

I'm running SunOS 4.1.3_U1 on a sparc machine and
compiled bind 4.9.8 with a gcc version 2.6.0.

named compiles , but exits immediately when trying to run it.

Any pointers on compilers versions, option settings, working combinations
on this setup ?
