Indeed. Another point is there is absolutely no need at all to
register any master (primary) server with DE-NIC. Or any other NIC for
that matter. As long as the server(s) you register are working
properly -- they're up, answering authoritatively for the new zone and
announce the same zone contents -- all is well. The NIC doesn't need
to know or care about the new zone's master server: just that the
servers you are registering are working properly. How those servers
get the DNS data for the new zone or where they get it from is of no
interest to them at all.
