dns server failing

Well, I know I had a similar failure (also some sort of assertion that
failed, thus terminating named), but that was a long time ago. You
mention 9.1.1rc3; by now 9.1.3 is "stable" and the 9.2.0 release
candidates (currently at 9.2.0rc9) are extremely stable. I'm running
9.2.0rc9 myself on my master and 9.2.0rc7 on one of the slaves (just
lazy, getting a new version onto that one isn't the easiest task) and
things work like a charm.
